FineCut Joinery is a family-owned business with a rich history rooted in a passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to excellence.

Founded by Daryl in the early 1990s, our journey began with a focus on kitchen and bathroom renovations. However, our direction shifted when a customer suggested the possibility of manufacturing displays. Daryl's simple yet profound reply, "They look like any other kitchen cabinet so I don't see why not!?" marked the beginning of our specialization in home appliance displays for the retail market.

What sets us apart is our unwavering dedication to understanding and meeting the unique requirements of our clients and the market. We pride ourselves on being the only specialty joiner exclusively focused on home appliance displays, giving us an acute understanding of the working environment and demands of the retail sector.

MITCHELL BLACK

DIRECTOR

Mitchell has is the Director of FineCut Joinery. Taking over the family business, Mitch has been the heart of Finecut for over 15 years. Inspired by his father, Mitch can say that he is proud of the team he has assembled and of the work they do. His goal is to continue to build and grow the business just like his father did.

Some of his favourite projects to date have been the Aristons installations, Smeg, Wolf & SubZero. He is grateful to have been a part of building new industry standards Australia wide.

In his downtime, you will find Mitch spending quality moments with his family, cooking up what he describes as the best "reverse seared steak ever" and keeping fit at Crossfit.

When you deal with FineCut you deal directly with Mitch. As he puts it "There's a reason we are the longest serving joiners in the appliance display market."

KATIE STEPHENSON

OFFICE MANAGER

Katie our Office Manager makes the wheel spin on this boat we call FineCut Joinery. We could not operate without her. She is literally a fixture here at FineCut and has been so for 18 years.

Katie is the first point of contact with our clients, where they get to unpack their vision. As she puts it, she "loves to learn their needs and wants to produce something we can all be proud of."

Katies favourite projects, would have to be any of the work we have completed for Harvey Norman.

Katie loves the flexibility and security her job brings. Her favourite part about FineCut is that it is a family business that values family first.

ROBERT BROWN-CIKOS

FACTORY FOREMAN

Robert is our Factory Foreman and our world would not run without him. Robert has always been drawn to working with timber and board. His favourite part about his job is getting to geek out on the details and seeing the final installation.

Robert has worked on many of our projects but says that the SubZero project at Redfern was by far his favourite to date.

In his downtime, Robert is a huge fan of gaming and if you don't find him enjoying the latest game, you'll find him killing it on the golf course endeavoring to get a hole in one...or eagle at least.

Robert is an integral member of FineCut Joinery.

RODRIGO CORDOVA

INSTALLATION TEAM LEADER

Rodrigo is our Installation Team Leader. Installing for clients all around Australia, Rodrigo is an integral part of the team. A lover of interior design, he enjoys the creative aspects of his job and truly enjoys being "part of someone's inspiration".

Rodrigo would say that Harvey Normal Erina has to be his favourite installation to date.

In his downtime, you often find him out paddleboarding on the water or watching the trade and finance markets.

When you work with FineCut you will meet and work with Rodrigo along the way.
